What happened to “On the Character of a True Theologian”? The link is dead. Did RHB give up on carrying this title? Or did the publisher? For seminary students, that book is probably just as helpful as Warfield’s lecture, though the latter is certainly not as self-debasing (something I, for one, can do without, at least in that particular genre). Other than those two essays, there really isn’t a lot out there for divinity students, other than Piper/Carson, Cameron’s Trials of Theology and the essay by H. Thielicke. Here’s to bringing Witsius’ essay back in print!
